My capstone project explores the creation of a story for entertainment, such as children’s literature or studio-grade animations. Using a Norwegian fairytale called “”East of the Sun, West of the Moon”” as inspiration, my thesis ranges from character design, environment art, prop art, and a 3D sculpture of a character. By using an old fairytale, gives me a chance to enliven an antiquated story with contemporary attitudes.
