As a graphic designer, I have developed a strong interest in how brands and design communicate through visual elements. The creative process of designing something from scratch is one of my favorite parts because it challenges me to think outside the box and find new ideas for my designs. In this case, this project focuses on the brand identity of a new Colombian restaurant. In order to represent part of the culture, the theme was inspired by the different regions, carnivals, and traditional dishes from the country. The restaurant’s main idea is to awaken admiration/interest in Colombian culture and share its gastronomy with the world through a unique experience. The colors, illustrations, and ambiance of the restaurant give that carnival feel.
