Red String Series

For my thesis project, I chose to work on a series of posters depicting couples and their stories. These stories will be interconnected with red string to create a background for each of the couples’ posters based on survey responses submitted by each individual. The red string of fate is a legend that says that each person is connected to their soulmate by an invisible red string, and that string can stretch or shrink but never break. The purpose of these posters is to create a visual narrative on each couples’ relationships, a statement on how relationships impact our lives and show how soulmates are viewed in modern society.
