For my thesis project, I designed an app for individuals who love discovering plants all around the world. This project is a combination of UX/UI design, illustrations, and 3D modeling. Raiz allows people around the world to connect with a friendly community to talk, and learn about the diversity of plants. Through this app, users can scan an image and transform it into a 3D interactive model which can also be viewed as an illustration or an image. It also encourages users to explore the outdoors to discover different species of plants through the monthly challenges. Users can search for plants by name, species, or location as well as keep track of their own personal plants. Raiz is a fun and informational app that connects plant lovers.
