My Senior Capstone Project is a 2-minute animated video. Due to my current interest in creating visual stories, the Korean song, “Bills,” inspired me to animate a music video that conveys the deep meaning of the song. The language barrier challenged me to effectively represent the lyrics through my art. The process consisted of a rough script and many thumbnail sketches to mark key frames which were imported into Procreate Dreams to map out the initial timing of each sequence. After I used Procreate to design a rough animation, I refined these scenes to match the music and lyrics. The intent is to portray a compelling narrative that entertains its audience while demonstrating a strong sense of placement and transitions.
