This is a project done with the intention of jump-starting an ongoing webcomic I plan to continually update after my graduation this winter 2021, with the intention to start publishing the series publicly on Tapas in February/March under the pen name “Briar Byrnes”.
The series itself will be a dark comedy called “Death in My Casino” following the misadventure of Jo, a successful young casino owner who earns the ire of his business partner Sam. After a turn of events Jo is betrayed by Sam, leaving him bleeding out in his own casino. Ending up in purgatory, and with a knack for some revenge, Jo seeks out Lucifer to quite literally make a deal with the Devil in order to go back to his casino to wreak havoc. However, things don’t go exactly how they were intended.
